Monday, October 12: One night in my own bed, and I headed north for a couple of days visiting my sister and her spouse. It’s always great to spend time with them – and they feed me well! I finished a pair of socks started by my aunt, who passed them on to me; I gave them to the brother-in-law before I left. It was surprising how much spectacular foliage is still hanging on, that far north.
I especially like the photo with the leaves in the foreground silhouetted against the colorful leaves in the background!
