
These are old photos, taken 10 years ago on a trip through the Canadian Maritime Provinces. On the western side of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, I spent a lot of time wandering through these figures. Apparently people donated clothes, as well as money – and they are set up as scenes from everyday life. I’m glad I got to visit them; I gather they are no longer there.





It is, after all, the season for scarecrows and costumes!
