Piling Up the Wood

This is what I’ve been working on every day it’s been above freezing and not raining; this is enough wood to get me through this winter and probably some into next, in my masonry heater. The shorter pile is the one I’ve been burning from so far this year, it being wood left from last year. There’s more I can work on, cut and ready to haul out of the woods, but having enough for this year is good enough if I don’t get to it.
