I’ve been spending a lot of time on the roads the past few months, and started particularly noticing the choices people make about the colors on the exteriors of their houses. This is the first one that started me on this path – I love how tasteful and discrete it is, and the delicacy of the detailing on the flowered border. Some are colors I would never, ever, ever choose to live with! I’ve collected a number of photos, now – and will post them as time allows over the next weeks.
Yes, I find that interesting, too. I’ve lived most of my life in brick houses, so not much in the way of painting decisions, but I have marvelled at some of the lovely (and not so lovely) choices people make.

A great idea! What fun for those of us who enjoy mixing colors but no longer travel very often! ABG/P

Oh, I love these colors. I enjoyed seeing all of the ‘Painted Ladies’ while visiting San Francisco. Rhinebeck has many beautiful Victorian homes.
