World Wide Knit in Public Day

I spent a few hours this afternoon (after kayaking in the morning; see next post!) Knitting in Public, sponsored by the local yarn store. It’s the first large group knitting in which I’ve participated since the pandemic began. And it was a picture-perfect day, not too hot, sunny (we moved a few times to stay in the shade), and there were about 15 people there. Most knitted, some were spinning yarn, and a couple were crocheting – and some people worked on more than one project or technique.

This is the one thing I’ve missed the most – sitting around with other knitters, talking yarn and technique and general chat.
